"Got Permission from Ranveer before Kissing and Hugging Deepika"

Siddhant Chaturvedi is currently relishing in the adoration and praise for his outstanding performance in 'Gehraiyaan.' The complicated love drama, which also starred ananya Pandey, Dhairyaa Karvaa, Raajat Kapoor, and Naseeruddin Shah, was highlighted by the actor's outstanding chemistry with deepika Padukone. Deepika's character Alisha and Siddhant's character Zain had a few intimate sequences in the film.

Many people have been trolling both actors since the teaser was released, claiming that they should have gotten permission from Deepika's husband Ranveer Singh before filming such sequences in the film. Siddhant has now spoken out about his remarks in a recent interview. The 'Bunty Aur Babli 2' actor told bollywood Bubble that these criticisms don't bother him because he and deepika are experts who understand their equation. He recalled that Ranveer was the first person he called after signing the film.

He even went on to say that the 'Simmba' star had come to goa to film with them and had partied with them. For the uninitiated, Siddhant played Ranveer's mentor in the latter's 2019 bollywood debut, 'Gully Boy.' He portrayed MC Sher, a rapper who mentors Ranveer's character Murad and assists him in becoming the Gully Boy. In real life, though, the young stunning actor regards Ranveer as his guru, saying in an interview that the 'Dil Dhadakne Do' actor has showered him with love since their work in Zoya Akhtar's film.
