Mahesh Babu is always my Hero
Ashok Galla, the nephew of mahesh babu, is slated to make his tollywood debut in the upcoming telugu flick Hero. The lead actor ashok chatted with Pinkvilla in an exclusive interview on the occasion of Sankranthi, as the film prepares for its major release on january 15, and opened up about his personal life, his path of emerging from a filmy backdrop, and Mahesh Babu.
When asked what "Hero" (the title of his film) means to him, ashok replied, "We used the term "cinema hero" to describe the film. A hero, on the other hand, is someone who inspires me. So I have real-life heroes, superheroes in comic books, and movie heroes. My father is my idol, my uncle (Mahesh Babu) is my hero in films, and Batman is my hero in comic books."
Ashok described himself as "fortunate" to be making his debut on such a wide scale, stating that it is only because of his grandfather krishna and uncle mahesh babu that he is able to do so. "It was all about trying to live up to expectations and working hard to achieve them. I've had the luxury of being able to train wherever I wanted. I was given the opportunity to make my debut when I was fully prepared and confident. That is not a privilege that everyone enjoys. The fact why I could make a home production of such high quality is due to the audience's curiosity about me being Mahesh Babu's nephew, the male actor explained."
