Tamil Lyric Writer Piraisoodan Passes Away at 65!
Piraisoodan died in chennai on october 8th. After hospitalization for heart failure, he had been sick for a few days. He took his last breath owing to heart failure after being sick for several days. Many celebrities expressed their sorrow and honored Piraisoodan one last moment. MS Viswanathan, Ilaiyaraaja, and AR rahman were among Piraisoodan's collaborators. In 1996, 1991, and 2010, he received the tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Song writer for his compositions in the films Thayagam, En Rasavin Manasile, and Neeyum Naanum.
Piraisoodan is known for his beautiful literary statements and his ability to finish a song in a short amount of time. He wrote several great songs, including Meenammaa Meenammaa for Rajini's Rajaadhi Raaja, Nuru Varusham (Panakkaran), and Enai Thottu ali Konda Mannan peru Ennadi for the Super Star's movie 'Rajadhi Raja' and he has been an ardent supporter of ADMK party for the past few years.
Kamal Haasan paid his tribute to Piraisoodan on twitter and commented about his talent. "Hiding his skill, Piraisoodan used to keep coming up with poems based on the circumstances supplied by the filmmakers and music composers. Now, he is departed far away from those who enjoy listening to his melodies. But his songs would never expire. My sincerest sympathies," his tweet in tamil reads roughly.
