Netflix occasionally informs us about which of its original films has received the most watches. Extraction had 99 million views in its first four weeks, making it one of the most Netflix films ever, and several 2020 films, including Spenser Confidential, The Old Guard, and Enola Holmes, made it into the top ten last year.
A star-studded cast was a distinctive feature of each of these films and now, red Notice will make the list if huge names are the key to a Netflix smash. red Notice is a new action-thriller arriving at Netflix in the fall for any who missed it and this features an ensemble cast of Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds and it is helmed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, who wrote and directed Dodgeball, Central Intelligence, and Skyscraper earlier with Dwayne Johnson in it.
Regarding the movie, director Rawson said, "The movie red Notice is a lot of fun! It's Netflix's greatest and biggest film to date, and they were fantastic partners in ensuring we had everything we needed to finish the film in the midst of an epidemic and despite all of these obstacles, we're quite pleased with how red Notice turned out. Collectively, these three actors are fantastic. Gal (Gadot), Ryan (Reynolds), and dj have incredible chemistry amongst themselves and look fantastic as a trio."
