Vaazhl is the trippiest film I've seen in recent times in Kollywood. I can't remember or think of a movie that is as trippy and enjoyable as Vaazhl. Some of the mainstream audience might find it absurd and hard to follow the story and the character in terms of what was happening rather than focusing on the journey the character has taken and some may even have issues in connecting to the plot.
There was a lot happening in the movie not just plotwise or the characters but through background score, editing, and beautiful cinematography. Dope visuals with equally dope background scores from singer and composer pradeep Kumar in the plot were refreshing and truly thought-provoking.
The movie is so philosophical or at least I felt philosophical as the character Prakash resembled me close to 60% and I was able to connect to the character and empathize with his situation. You can't always find peace and tranquility in a logical world it's sometimes these stories that people find illogical and makes no sense at all change the perspective of a person. The movie was sending me mixed signals of living my life and Vaazh definitely makes me rethink.
Vaazhl is one such film that makes no sense at all when you see it but the film is truly magical when you start to deconstruct it and analyze it.
