Allu Sirish's Kotha Janta movie shooting was completed long ago and every thing was in place for their Valentines day release as planned but the release did not happen. According to our reliable source in Geeta Arts, Allu Aravind, the producer of the movie and Allu Sirish's father watched the film rushes after the shoot and found several scenes of sleaze and double meanings. Aravind called up on Maruthi and strictly warned him to chop all those scenes as they would affect the clean image of Geeta Arts and Allu Sirish too.
We are told that Maruthi had to do some corrections in the film and even reshot some of the sequences. These reshoots finally delayed the time and there was no time for post production for a February 14th release. The movie can not be rescheduled for one more date in February. there are many movies lined up for release one after the other.
So, Allu Aravind decided to push the movie late summer. As of now they are planning to release the movie on March 21st/23rd. The film is extremely crucial for Sirish as his first movie, Gauravam failed both in raking money as well as getting him good name as an actor.
Maruti had moved on to his other project, Radha which will be launched on February 6th. He will be also simultaneously work on Kotha Janta's Post production works. He will take some time of Radha shooting when Kotha Janta releases for the later's promotion.
