Fan of Samantha? Well, Here's a Disappointing News for You
The real-life cute couple Nag Chaitanya and Samantha, before entering wedlock had enthralled audience as a lovely onscreen pair in films like the memorable Ye Maayavan Chesave, their first one together, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, which made them a most loved couple, besides the Akkineni family film Manam by Vikram Kumar and the flop Autonagar Surya by Deva Katta.
Post their marriage, when it was most expected that the Maruti directorial Sailaja Reddy Alludu might star Samantha as nag Chaitanya's pair, much to the disappointment of fans of the cute couple, it was announced that the film will star Anu Emmanuel as the female lead, and have Ramya Krishnan in a pivotal role.
However, fans went happily after news spread last week that Samantha has been chosen to play the female lead in Nag Chaitanya's next directed by Ninnukori director Shiva Nirvana.
However, it has now been revealed that Samantha will not be playing the female lead, but will only be seen playing a vital cameo role and Nag Chaitanya had suggested her name for the special cameo. So fans will have to be content with the cameo for now, till any other maker brings together Chay Sam.
