Director Prabhu Solomon, known for his penchant to create plots revolving around nature and environment, and presents aesthetic visuals are back, and this time, it's gonna be a sequel to his superhit flick of the past.
The movie is gonna be Kumki 2, the sequel to Prabhu Solomon's 2012 superhit Kumki, that revolved around a Mahout played by Vikram Prabhu, and his bonding with his elephant which data-faces an unfortunate end as they have to set out on a journey to save a tribe from a wild elephant. Costarring Lakshmi Menon, the film had beautiful music by D.Imman and stunning, visually appealing visuals by Sukumar which elevated the film to success.
The sequel Kumki 2 , will star debutant Mathi, a relative of Kumki's Producer Lingusamy, who'll be paired with Shivani, daughter of actor Rajasekhar and actress Jeevitha. The film has begun shooting in Thailand, and Prabhu Solomon hopes to end his flop streak (Kayal, Thodari) with this interesting sequel .
