Srijit Mukherji's directorial 'Begum Jaan' is set during the India's partition in 1947. Vidya Balan is the lead cast and Flora Saini too got to work with her.
She is all praise for Vidya Balan show of talent and shares how much she had learnt from the lead lady and how she has inspired her. She was able to learn a lot from Vidya.
The film is an adaptation of Bengali film, 'Rajkahini' and Saini plays the role of one of the girls in brothel. Gauahar Khan and Pallavi Sharda too feature in the movie.
She said, "Begum Jaan is a rustic film, and Vidya has no inhibitions as an actress. For us that was a huge morale booster. So there were scenes where Vidya's character had to be really cruel and harsh to us. There was days when she used to come and hug us after the shoot, often even cry saying she felt bad...."
