1. Jayasudha
Jayasudha who is born to Hindu parents converted to Christianity in 2001. She said she discovered Jesus after facing a Water accident
2. Nagma
Nagma who was born to Muslim mother and Hindu father converted to Christianity in November 2011. She said she preferred the religion after Politics caused depression.
3. Vaisali Manoharan
Famous actress and TV personality Vaisali Manoharan who is also daughter of 'Kaviarasu' Kannadasan converted to Christianity by taking Holy Communion at the Mylapore Good Shepherd Church.
4. Nayantara
Nayantara who is born to Malayalee Syrian Christian parents converted to Hinduism at Arya Samaj Temple in Chennai on August 7, 2011. She did it for her ex-boyfriend Prabhu Deva
5. Khushbu Sundar
Actress Khushbu was born to Muslim parents. But she converted to Hinduism to marry Director Sundar.C
6. A.R.Rahman
AR Rahman was born a Hindu and named AS Dileep Kumar. He converted to Islam later. The musician was introduced to Qadiri Islam when his younger sister fell severely ill in 1984. He got more attracted towards Muslim due to the ideals and values.
