Reserve bank of india Governor Shaktikanta Das yesterday confirmed the integration of the RuPay credit card into the UPI network, called the Unified Payments Interdata-face. Experts believe that the use of rupee credit cards will increase almost five times. Customers of punjab National bank, Union bank of india, and indian bank will benefit greatly as their RuPay credit cards are allowed to be used on the UPI network. The report also said that the use of credit cards will increase as merchants accept credit cards using methods such as QR codes.It is said to revolutionize digital payments as RuPay Credit Card is allowed for UPI, UPI Lite, and Bharat BillPay cross-data-border bill payments. It is also said that the move will help many new users in india and abroad to engage in digital payments, benefiting 300 million users worldwide.
