Andhra Pradesh is already known as an economically troubled state. The center has also been keeping a close eye on new debts. Thus there are records of borrowing in excess of the requirement a few times after some consultation with the center.

The ap government is freshly seeking loans of Rs 3,500 crore in the name of capital venture. That is, the decision is to spend those funds on capital development and infrastructure creation. The ap government is also mulling over some direct tax hikes as the funds come in. The role of the old debt is not only to fill the gaps but also to look for new ones.

There is already a background in municipalities being caught for garbage tax collection within the village secretariat. In addition, property tax is expected to be levied at an additional five per cent. Thus an additional Rs 35 crore per annum will go to the government. Property tax has already been levied on some huge amount. According to recent figures, over Rs 400 crore has been raised through the advance property tax payment system.

According to three-year figures (including this year until 2024), it seems that the government is planning to increase the property tax increase gradually. This means that no matter how many criticisms are coming, the jagan government will not be able to stop it.

With the advance payments being exceptional, if the system is promoted, the revenue of Rs 1,500 crore for the coming period will come from rural areas alone. Similarly, in terms of GST, the revenue is very good. In addition to these, they are collecting three to five thousand rupees on commercial boards like never before. This means that if the revenue from each of these municipalities in the form of tax is expected to reach Rs 100 crore per annum, it will reach the exchequer. This means that a moderate level of revenue of Rs 100 crore per year from any large municipal office is guaranteed. For the next three years, AP's revenue from commercial boards alone is expected to be as low as Rs 300 crore.

The Opposition has criticized the government for not paying salaries to some small-scale employees (contract employees) for two to three months as a sign that the treasury is still empty, despite the fact that incomes are being raised and direct taxes are being levied indirectly every year.
