UPI service paralyzed for over 1 hour..!?
The UPI servers were down for almost an hour last night, affecting the UPI-based payment service across the country yesterday. It is an integrated electronic transfer service. Using this, you can transfer money from one bank account to another bank account and merchants. indian UPI service also operates in Nepal, Bhutan, Malaysia, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates. Meanwhile, during his monthly Mann Ki Baat radio broadcast yesterday, prime minister Modi said that about Rs 20,000 crore is being transacted online every day.
More than 60 percent of the country's retail currency transactions are held by UPI. In this case, the UPI servers were down for almost an hour last night, affecting the UPI-based payment service across the country yesterday.

Accordingly, the UPI payment service on applications like Paytm, google Pay, and phone Pe was disabled for a while, making it difficult for more users to make transactions. Also, users tweeted on twitter about this issue. In particular, they reported that the transaction failed when using the payment service.
The National Payments Corporation of india (NBCI) has said that the technical glitch has been rectified and UPI services will continue as usual.
