In a conversation with ANI, vipul Shah, the producer of The kerala Story, said that cm mamata banerjee should watch this film and discuss with us about it. He said, 'I would like to fold hands and tell mamta didi to watch this film with us and if she finds something like this then discuss with us. We would like to hear all their valid criticisms and put forth our point of view. This is my request and we will wait.
Last day, ban on the film was banned in the state. The CJI said that the order to ban the film by the bengal government is not rational. Apart from this, the court has also asked the tamil Nadu government to ensure smooth screening of the film. The court asked the tamil Nadu government to provide security to theaters and people going to watch movies.

The kerala Story will soon earn Rs 200 crore at the box office. Despite several controversies, the film has emerged as the second highest grossing hindi film of 2023. Directed by Sudipto Sen, the film has managed to rake in a whopping Rs 171 crore at the domestic box office.
