The kerala Story, directed by Sudipto Sen, debuted in theatres on friday under intense controversy. The movie unexpectedly garnered negative reviews from bollywood critics upon release, but judging by the positive response it earned at the box office, it seemed to have impressed the people. The film made a net of 8 Crores on its first day in theatres.
It is sensational, to put it mildly, when a little picture debuts with 8 Crores in net revenue on the first day, especially with a modest number of showings. The trade circles anticipate the movie to have a great day today due to the addition of numerous shows, and now everyone is waiting to see if this movie will also do miracles at the box office like The kashmir Files Movie.
The kerala Story has performed better at the box office than both akshay kumar and Emran Hashmi's Selfie and karthik Aryan's Shehazada. The critics attacked the movie's content in an attempt to kill it, but the box office results spoke for the audience. The kerala Story, which stars adah sharma, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani, and sonia Balani, was previously officially billed as the tale of more than 32,000 kerala women who were supposedly radicalised by Islamic fundamentalists. However, following internet objections alleging that the creators were spreading false information, the number was reduced from 32,000 to three.
