Boycott Pushpa Trending Worldwide

G GOWTHAM
A segment of the bollywood audience has been boycotting movies left, right, and centre if there is one thing that they constantly do. Their most recent project was for Pathaan by SRK. The movie ended up being a box office monster despite their attempts to boycott it and spread bad press about it. The bollywood folk have already requested pushpa 2. They are criticising the film's recently unveiled poster.

"Holding a rifle while sporting a tilak on your forehead and a hindu god costume? @alluarjun What do you intend to demonstrate? Does hinduism solely advocate for violence? Do we revere sinners like pushpa as our gods? On Twitter, a bollywood page that promotes the boycott narrative urged people to "stop insulting our culture."

The production of pushpa 2 is still in its early phases. The boycott batch's lack of employment in bollywood is demonstrated by their early call to boycott the movie after only having seen the pre-look poster. When it comes to their claim that a Hindu deity is carrying a gun, anyone who even has a vague concept of Hindu gods from mythology knows that they stand against evil and historically have resorted to violence to establish order. The pushpa poster effectively and creatively captures the same.
In addition, bollywood people have no business criticising south indian filmmakers for their religious themes. Such elements are always given the utmost consideration and respect by South Asian filmmakers. They might praise it in novel ways, as in the instance of the pushpa poster, but distorting the truth will never be the goal. It's interesting to watch these hindi speakers suddenly discussing pushpa 2. There is a suggestion that chittoor Gangamma Jathara, a regional customary rite, served as inspiration for the recently unveiled pushpa poster. Despite this, some people in bollywood are beginning to advocate for a boycott of the movie.
