Dubai Café Serves the World’s Most Expensive Coffee ..?
The coffee is made from rare Nido 7 Geisha beans, known for their exclusivity and exceptional quality.
A Rare Brew Born on Volcanic Slopes
Nido 7 Geisha beans are grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Barú in western Panama.
Cultivated in minuscule micro-lots, each harvest yields only a few kilograms.
The scarcity of these beans makes them highly exclusive, with only a few cups ever available worldwide.
Limited Availability
Julith coffee plans to serve only about 400 cups of this luxury beverage.
Even among global coffee enthusiasts, very few will have the chance to taste it.
Record-Breaking Auction
Earlier this year, 20 kg of Nido 7 Geisha beans sold for 2.2 million dirhams ($600,000) at a panama auction.
The auction involved hundreds of international bidders.
Julith coffee won after 549 bids, setting a new global record for the highest price ever paid for coffee beans.
Reserved for Royalty
A cup has been reserved for Dubai’s ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Coffee roaster Serkan Sagsoz described the beans as extraordinary, noting that only a handful of people globally will taste them.
Flavor profile: delicate, layered, with floral jasmine, citrus hints, apricot, peach, and honey-like sweetness.
The Crown Jewel of Coffee
Nido 7 Geisha is considered the "crown jewel" of the Geisha family.
It earned a score of 98 at the Best of panama competition, with six judges awarding a perfect 100.
Dubai previously held the Guinness World Record for the most expensive coffee at 2,500 dirhams ($680), now surpassed by Julith Coffee’s creation.
The brew sets a new benchmark in luxury coffee, combining rarity, flavor, and prestige in a single cup.
