In hyderabad, there are more liquor shops than population-friendly Covid hospitals and police stations.

Very surprised when learning about some things.

Recently an interesting thing came to light regarding liquor shops in hyderabad city.

Governments want to generate extra revenue through the sale of alcohol.

According to the Institute of Perception Studies (IPS), hyderabad has more liquor stores than population-friendly Covid hospitals and police stations.

Hyderabad has one liquor shop for every 22,323 people and one police station for every 77,792 residents.

Similarly, there is one hospital for every 34,691 residents in hyderabad for the treatment of Covid-19.

Dr.

Neelima Kota, Director, The Institute of Perception Studies, said: 'The difference is huge if we consider all types of liquor stores (legal and illegal liquor stores. This analysis to show the difference: Can women be safe where there are 3.5 times more wine shops than police stations. '

'Covid is a serious emergency that can be fatal to every citizen.

The importance is given to the maintenance of the state treasury.

The government still needs to be prepared in terms of the health of the epidemic boom.

All this is to raise awareness and implement what the citizens need.

There are currently 460 liquor stores under the hyderabad GHMC.

However, under the new liquor policy, new licenses are being issued to increase the number of liquor shops.

While there are 2,216 liquor shops across telangana, the state government hopes to increase the number to 2,620.

Revenue from alcohol in the financial year 2014 was just Rs.

10,833 crores as against Rs.

27,888 crores.

Liquor sales are a major source of revenue for the state.

Health facilities and security facilities, on the other hand, are in short supply.

In this context, is income more important than the safety and health of citizens?

Many are questioning that.

It is a well-known fact that the telangana government issued a notification on november 9 regarding liquor store tenders for two years from december 1, 2021.

This time the number of liquor shops increased by 400 than in the past.
