There are all kinds of Muslims here, less educated and very successful Muslims as well. It is a common thingthat a person feels more comfortable among people of his own kind. The main reason for this is communal riots. Then when that person gets used to living in the same area, he feels secure. The same happens with people of other communities. Hindus, Sikhs, Bengalis also like to live with their own community.'"Earlier, auto drivers in Delhi used to refuse to go to some areas like Bhajanpura. They used to say that goons live there, they will not go there. However, this does not happen now. Even if people of a community fight among themselves, they still prefer to live with their own community. This is not good for any society. people of that society do not progress that fast. It will take many generations to end this divisive mentality in the society or maybe it may not end now."Mohammad Shoaib also said that usually Muslims do not get houses on rent in good societies. Therefore, they are forced to go and settle in the area of their own community. Some people consider Muslims to be good, while others consider them to be bad. It depends on what their past experience was or what they were taught. In this way, an opinion of those people is formedand then it takes time to change it.
