World Pharmacists Day History...Let's know...

Everyone's life is significantly impacted by healthcare. Pharmacists perform a crucial role in society, ensuring that everyone has access to safe medication through advice on dosage and usage of medications as well as through assuring the availability of medications for patients. Every year, World Pharmacists Day is observed to honor the medical professionals that go above and beyond to make sure that patients in need receive the medications they need and understand how to take them. Pharmacists contribute significantly to the advancement of the healthcare sector and the medical system as a whole.

September 25 is designated as World Pharmacists Day each year. The day designated as World Pharmacists Day this year is Monday.

World Pharmacists Day was declared to be observed by The international Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Council in 2009 at the World congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Istanbul, Turkey. The international Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Council was founded on the same day in 1912. Since that time, september 25 has been designated as World Pharmacists Day. The international Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Council stated on their official website that "The FIP World Pharmacists Day campaign is an opportunity for pharmacy to celebrate its achievements in supporting societies, as well as to make its value and further potential in improving health known."
