Why soap is not considered ideal for the face.?

It's generally recommended to use gentle, pH-balanced cleansers specifically formulated for the data-face. These cleansers are designed to cleanse without stripping the skin's natural moisture and are often tailored to address specific skin concerns.

Harsh on the skin

Most soaps are formulated with a high pH level, which can disrupt the natural pH balance of the skin. This can strip away the skin's natural oils, leading to dryness, irritation, and potential damage.

Strips away moisture

Soap, especially those with harsh ingredients, can be drying on the skin. It can strip away the natural moisture barrier, causing the skin to become dehydrated and prone to dryness, flakiness, and even increased oil production as a compensatory response.

Aggravates skin conditions

For individuals with sensitive skin or certain skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea, using soap can further irritate the skin and worsen symptoms. The fragrances and additives in soap can be potential triggers for allergic reactions or flare-ups.

Does not cater to specific skin needs

Different individuals have different skin types and concerns. Soap is a general cleanser and does not cater to specific skin needs like acne-prone skin, aging skin, or sensitive skin. Using soap may not address specific skin issues or provide targeted benefits.
