Declining Corona cases..? To withdraw RTPCR testing..?
The indian government has announced that the RTPCR test will be made mandatory for passengers coming from six countries - china, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Thailand, and japan - before their boarding, but it will be relaxed from Monday, the government has announced. As the number of corona cases around the world is decreasing drastically, the Center has also removed the rule of uploading the 'Air Suvita' form for passengers arriving by air from six countries.

1. In a letter to Civil Aviation Secretary Rajiv Bansal, Union health Secretary Rajesh bhushan mentioned that the existing mandate of pre-departure Covid-19 screening and self-sanitization notification on 'Air Suvita' has now been changed for international arrivals from six countries.
2. However random testing of passengers from all countries will continue without any change. The random testing, which was halted in November, was resumed on december 24 due to the escalating corona situation in china and neighboring countries.
3. The revised guidelines will come into effect on february 13 at 11 am.
4. This decision has been taken after the number of cases of coronavirus in these countries has decreased significantly in the last few weeks.


5. According to data from the World health Organization, new infections have decreased by 89 percent compared to the number recorded in the last 28 days.
6. Wu Junyu, the chief epidemiologist of China's Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, recently said that there will be no need to fight the corona so aggressively shortly.
7. Meanwhile, less than 100 cases are recorded daily in India. According to Sunday's data, 124 new cases of the corona were reported, while the number of active infections rose to 1,843. The number of deaths due to Corona is 5,30,750. In december, after china withdrew its zero-covid policy, reports of rising cases of coronavirus emerged in several countries. Following this, india has stepped up its preparedness to fight the Coronavirus.
