These 16 drugs include Diclofenac with Paracetamol, medicines used for nasal congestion, and anti-allergic drugs. Apart from this, an antiseptic and disinfectant agent, chlorhexidine, a mouthwash used in the treatment of gingivitis, has also been kept.The government is preparing to put Paracetamol used in fever and 16 other medicines of common use on the over-the-counter list by changing the rules. That is, to buy these medicines, a doctor's prescription will no longer be required. A gazette notification has been issued in this regard by the Ministry of Health.
