Lancet report: 9 million deaths due to pollution in 2019, toxic air took 16.7 lakh lives in india alone. pollution is taking a dangerous form. According to a recent report published in The Lancet Planetary health Report, 90 people died due to pollution in the world in 2019. In which 66.7 lakh people died due to air pollution alone. At the same time, 17 lakh people died due to the use of dangerous chemicals. A maximum 24 lakh deaths have occurred in China. india is at number two.


In india, 16.7 lakh people lost their lives due to air pollution. Most of which (9.8 lakh) were linked to ambient air pollution caused by PM 2.5 particles. These figures show that the increasing level of pollution is a big problem for us, which can be solved only together.



Let us tell you, the report uses data collected by the Global Burden of Disease, Injury and Risk Factor Study conducted before Kovid. Experts say that a solution to pollution is necessary. Even worse effect will be on the life of human beings. Due to the high amount of oxygen, humans will feel more energy in the beginning. Some diseases will also be cured but it will not be for long. Excess amounts of oxygen will affect the cells and blood vessels and give rise to new types of disease. There will also be a risk of oxygen toxicity in humans.
