But now it will not happen. IIT scientists have developed such a bone regeneration technology, with the help of which wherever there is no bone, it can be injected and the empty space can be filled with bone.
IIT and Ortho RegenicsAt the same time, an MoU has been signed between IIT and Ortho Regenics for this technology to be used by more and more patients and doctors. Under this MoU, Ortho Regenics will be able to make commercial use of this technology.
How will it work?If we talk about technology, then in the part of the body where the bone has been broken or removed, a paste of two chemicals will be made in that affected part and delivered to the body through injection. This ceramic-based mixture will contain bioactive molecules which will help in bone regrowth. According to professor Kumar, it can also be used as a bone substitute in the future. This technology can bring a big change in the medical field.
