In India, an average of 31 children died every day last year due to school lockdowns.


In India, the government has reported that an average of 31 children have committed suicide every day last year. Experts believe that the mental health of children and adolescents may have been severely affected during the Corona crisis.

Due to the Corona crisis and the lockdown of schools, all the children were heavily influenced by stress. According to the National Crime Records Bureau, 11,396 children committed suicide by 2020. The number of boys who committed suicide in 2019 was 9,613. Also, the number of boys who committed suicide and died in 2018 was 9,413.

It has been shown that many people commit suicide due to family problems, love affairs and health problems related to the suicide of boys who are under 18 years of age. 

In addition, ideology, cinema celebrities worship, unemployment, diva, impotence, drug addiction and many others are the reason to commit suicide.


4006 people have committed suicide due to family problems, 1337 due to love affairs and 1,327 due to health problems. 

Schools are closed during the Corona period. Experts say that children commit suicide due to this additional stress.
