'Heed the warning': Mix and Match is a 'Dangerous Trend' - bits of advice WHO, Chief Scientist

Soumya Swaminathan, Chief Scientist in World health Organization counsels against mixing and matching Vaccines from distinct manufacturers, calls it a "Dangerous Trend".

The surprising trend of Mix and Match in the fashion Industry gained momentum in recent years. In the same way, "Mix and Match" COVID vaccines are on an uptrend now in most countries.

Mixing Jabs will end up in chaos while administering Third and Fourth doses. In this type of Vaccine administration, divergent vaccines from non-identical manufacturers were given for a single beneficiary. But all the manufacturers usually prescribe the shots at regular intervals only. These shots differ for each vaccine. If two different Vaccines are administered, what is the duration between the Vaccines? How do we analyze the result?

A recent study revealed that people who got jabs from different vaccines reported side effects, usual than normal, including headaches and severe muscle aches.

Earlier in June, Soumya swaminathan had reported that using two different vaccines might give a stronger immune response. She also cited data from the united kingdom and germany showed minimal side effects compared to jabs of the same Vaccines. But no recent studies have counselled the common man whether the mixing of jabs could help protect against the infection.
