Forced resignations with BYJU's employees!

Now there are allegations that Byjus is forcing resignations from its employees in Bengaluru, where it has its headquarters, just like it did in Thiruvananthapuram.

Byjus appears to have warned employees to resign immediately or data-face dismissal with their careers affected.
It is noteworthy here that the karnataka State IT/ITES Employees Union (KITU) has stated that Byjus is laying off employees at its Bangalore headquarters.

KITU Secretary Suraj Nidianga told the media that the employees of Baijus are not willing to resign. However, they said that the management is forcing them. He said that the HR department is already engaged in forced resignations from the employees. But he claimed that there was no written communication regarding layoffs from the company.

The employees say that for the past week, the HR department has been calling the employees and asking them to submit their resignations voluntarily.

On the other hand, due to the controversy over the dismissal of employees in thiruvananthapuram, Byjus took corrective measures. The employees working in thiruvananthapuram were transferred to another place after complaining to the Labor minister of Kerala.

Meanwhile, economic depression conditions and companies not being able to recover from the impact created by the Covid turmoil have reduced the popularity of Baijus as schools are currently running as usual. Byjus is in the process of firing some employees.

Meanwhile, a total of 50 thousand employees are working in Baijus. It is known that Baijus recently announced that 2500 of them will be fired. It said that a total of 5 percent (2500) people will be removed in a phased manner.
