AP: Official Polling Percentage..!

G GOWTHAM
The wait is now over for the final vote percentage in the andhra pradesh elections. In excess of a thousand sites, voting was conducted beyond midnight, demonstrating the extraordinary enthusiasm of the people of the AP. The election commission didn't release the official polling percentage for almost a day after polling concluded.

The media, political parties, their supporters, and psyphologists are all keen to do post-election assessments and are waiting for this figure from the EC. The ruling party might find itself in the opposite position with even a one percentage point improvement from the previous term.

According to ECI data, the ap voter turnout is now 80.07% and could rise slightly when the final official number is released. There is another 1.2% from postal ballots. So, the turnout stands at 81.27% as of now (estimated 82/37%), which is higher than in 2019 (79.80%), and this could make jagan MOHAN REDDY' target='_blank' title='ys jagan mohan reddy-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">ys jagan mohan reddy and the YSRCP leaders sleepless.
In ap history, this is the highest voting that has ever been noted. Voting this high is often reserved for situations in which overthrowing a government is desired. It was unexpected that the constituency with the largest recorded vote in an assembly election was neither Kuppam, Pulivendula, Mangalagiri, or Pithapuram. With 90.91% of the vote, Darsi is the assembly constituency with the most votes. The candidates were Sivaprasad reddy of the YSRCP and Gottipati lakshmi of the tdp, who was running for office for the first time.
Achieving a record-breaking 90% in Darsi is no small task, particularly considering that the tdp failed to choose a representative for the seat for a whole four years. The only assembly constituency to reach 90% was this one. If the high proportion of votes cast is a result of resentment towards the YSRCP mla in power, Gottipati lakshmi is going to win handily.
