SpiceJet flight passengers clashed with airline staff...

A clash broke out between the passengers of a flight of domestic airline SpiceJet at the ahmedabad airport staff on Wednesday. In fact, the passengers were angry because their flight was late by 8 hours. However, it was not the airline's fault but for not having proper flight management at the airport, complaining of which the passengers were angry with the behaviour of SpiceJet staff clashed with them.

What was the whole matter?

According to the news report, SpiceJet's ahmedabad to varanasi flight SG0354 was to take off at 10.30 am. Passengers were first informed about this flight being rescheduled for 3 pm due to technical reasons. Even after this, the flight kept getting late and finally at 7 pm the flight took off for Varanasi.

Frustrated for not getting the correct answer for 8 hours delay

Due to the frequent delay of the flight, the passengers repeatedly asked the airline staff for the reason. Eyewitnesses say that the airline staff responded angrily due to repeated inquiries, to which the passengers got furious. Later senior officers of the Security and airport Authority were called, who took over the matter. After this, all the passengers boarded the flight and it took off for Varanasi.

Network issue or communication gap is the reason...

A senior official of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation has attributed the flight delay to a 'network issue' at the airport. According to the DGCA officer, the main runway of Sardar Vallabhbhai patel international airport in ahmedabad was informed to be closed from 11 am to 3 pm for maintenance. This information was also given in the NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) issued to the pilots of all the airlines.

According to the officer, due to this NOTAM, SpiceJet staff had informed about the first flight at 3 o'clock. After this, the flight got delayed due to a network issue at the airport (more air traffic at the airport). Finally, the flight got permission to take off at 7 o'clock.
