Water even in desert and dry places!!!

About 71% of the Earth's surdata-face is covered with water. It contains 96.5% seawater that surrounds the earth. Do you know that water is in the form of vapor in the air, in rivers and lakes, in the snow on mountains, in the form of soil, and as an aquifer on the lower surdata-face of the ground and even in your body and animals? The largest storage of water on earth is the sea, but we cannot drink seawater directly.

In today's time, according to scientists, 0.5% of the clean water of the earth is available which is spread in many areas of the world in the form of rivers, lakes, and artificial reservoirs of rainwater, groundwater, etc.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to get water in deserts and other dry areas. In this way, a unique discovery has been made. Due to this, now a ray of hope has arisen regarding water even in desert and dry places. Scientists have prepared a gel film through a new technology so that water present in the air can be stored and used.

Drinking water from desert air

The university of texas at Austin has produced a low-cost prison film. This prison film can draw drinking water from the desert air. More than a third of the world's population lives in drylands, where people experience water scarcity. Now with the new discovery, soon we will be able to get clean water from the desert air and will be able to feed flowers through clean drinking water in the desert too. Also, with the help of this technique, the shortage of water during the scorching summer in many areas can also be relieved.

How to make gel film?

Gel film is flexible and can be molded into different shapes depending on the requirement. To make the film, only hydrophilic skeleton or silica gel (which is made from a biodegradable form of cellulose and is effective in pulling moisture out of anything) and Konjac Gum (Konjac is a root vegetable that grows in parts of Asia) ) is needed. In this, all the things are put in a mold and it is kept to set in the form of a gel. “It takes 2 minutes for the gel to set. Then it just needs to be freeze-dried and can be used immediately after taking it out of the mold.
