First all-civilian crew launched into Earth's orbit!
Today, september 16, SpaceX sent the Inspiration4 expedition to orbit via Florida's Kennedy Space Center, with an all-civilian crew. SpaceX has created history by flying four individuals with no prior space travel expertise on an orbital mission. The takeoff of the Inspiration4 spacecraft represents SpaceX's first commercial trip to outer space. Jared Isaacman, a 38-year-old millionaire and entrepreneur who has funded the whole operation, is in charge of this mission.
This is the first time a spaceship has blasted off and rocketed towards orbit with no professional astronauts aboard, instead of comprising of an all crew. Hayley Arceneaux, Jared Isaacman, Sian Proctor, as well as chris Sembroski are the four participants of SpaceX's all-civilian mission.
