Terror of wolf in Bahraich-playing with nature...

People of UP's bahraich district are living in the shadow of the fear of the man-eating wolf these days. The wolf has created terror in the nearby areas. It has made dozens of people its victims so far. Recently a tiger was seen in Lakhimpur Kheri. Now the news of leopard's entry in Bengaluru has come to light.

Talking about a few months back, the terror of tiger was seen in VTR in West Champaran, Bihar. Elephant incidents keep coming to light in Kerala. That is, if we say, the terror of animals has troubled people from North to South India.

There can be many reasons for animals coming out of the forest to residential areas. If there are forest fires during summer, then animals run away from the forest at that time also. After the rain, animals also migrate from the forests. Such a situation also occurs due to developmental work being done in forest areas. Now most of the farming is also being done in the forest areas. Due to these reasons, there is a problem of both food and shelter for the animals, then the animals start moving towards cities and rural areas. For this, the government needs to make a better planning. In order to properly disclose the data, a proper survey ought to be conducted at the government level. It should be recognized which species are declining in number as well as how much the total number of animals is growing.
