1 cup soya chunks (meal maker)


1 medium onion (sliced)


1 tomato (finely chopped)


2 green chilies (optionally available, slit)


1 tsp ginger-garlic paste


Half tsp turmeric powder


1/2 tsp pink chili powder


1/2 tsp garam masala or curry powder


1/2 tsp cumin seeds


Salt to flavor


1–2 tbsp oil


Few curry leaves (optionally available)


Coriander leaves for garnish


2 cups water (to boil soya)


👨‍🍳 Step-by-step practice:


Step 1: Soak and Boil Soy


Boil 2 cups of water with a pinch of salt.


Upload soya chunks and cook for five–6 minutes till they self-braise.


Drain and rinse in bloodless water 2–3 times to do away with the raw smell.


Squeeze out extra water and set apart.


Step 2: Sauté the base.


Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and curry leaves.


Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.


Upload ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for a minute.


Step 3: add tomato and spices.


Upload chopped tomato and prepare dinner until it softens and oil separates.


Add turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt.


Cook dinner for 1–2 minutes until the masala is nicely combined.


Step 4: Add soya and fry.


Upload boiled soya chunks and mix well with the masala.


Fry on medium-high heat for five–7 minutes, stirring once in a while until dry and slightly crisp.


Step 5: Garnish and Serve


Garnish with clean coriander leaves.


Serve hot with chapati, rice, or as a dry snack.

Marinate boiled soy in spices for 15 minutes earlier than frying for a deeper taste.
