The move aims to streamline its operations and expand its technological presence and market reach.Presently, Zepto runs its business operations in mumbai and its technical and product teams in Bengaluru. The company plans to bring all 1,700-1,800 employees together in one location, requiring staff to relocate by the end of november or early December, as reported by a Zepto employee.
The startup is currently considering properties in the sarjapur, HSR, or Bellandur areas of Bellandur for its relocation. It employs roughly 1000 staff in mumbai, 400 in Bengaluru, and 300 elsewhere. About 90% of the Mumbai-based employees are reportedly willing to relocate, with a small percentage potentially unable to do so.
