Bharti airtel, along with reliance Jio and financially troubled vodafone Idea, has earmarked around Rs 350-400 crore to advertise their 5g service launches this festive season. It has been reported that airtel is planning to invest an excessive amount of money in this. During this festive period, to acquire customers, telecom companies are likely to invest heavily in 3 areas . There is FIFA world cup, icc t20 world cup, and Kaun Banega Crorepati.
With this, Bharti airtel, reliance Jio, and vodafone Idea are expected to spend around Rs 700 crore on advertising by the end of the financial year 2023. There may be minor changes in this Rs 700 crore, as vodafone Idea has not disclosed much about its 5g plan. Recently, vodafone Idea announced that it will be able to decide on the launch of 5g services only after getting a new bank loan.
The reason is that for the 5g telecom service, the telecom equipment can be purchased only with this loan amount, which is the main condition of vodafone Idea.
