Global advertising and public relations agency Ogilvy has appointed Amritsar-born Devika Bulchandani as its Global Chief Executive Officer. The company said in its statement that till now Ogilvy was serving as the Global President and CEO (Ogilvy North America), which is now replacing Andy Main. Andy Main is resigning from his position as Global CEO and will continue to serve as Senior Editor until the end of this year.


Will handle work in 131 offices

Ogilvy Company said in its statement that Devika Bulchandani will be responsible for all the work related to Creative Network in 131 offices in 93 countries in her new role. Along with this, she will also look after the work of advertising, public relations, consulting and health units.

What does Ogilvy do?

Ogilvy is part of WPP, the world's leading marketing and communication group. Devika Bulchandani will also be a part of the executive committee of WPP.

Regarding Devika Bulchandani, WPP CEO Mark Reid said that Devika is a master of creativity, whatever work she does, she does it with passion and purpose and considers it only by completing it effectively.

CEO Mark Reid said Devika's love for the industry, understanding of clients and track record of growth for agencies and brands make her the best choice for Ogilvy.

Devika Bulchandani was instrumental behind Mastercard's long-running "Priceless" campaign as well as "True Name", which allows transgender and non-binary people to display their names on Mastercard. Devika effectively launched a campaign like "Fearless Girl".
