Women Fainting in 40°C Heat for Vijay – This Is What Blind Fan Worship Looks Like in Tamil Nadu Politics

SIBY JEYYA
It happened again in Chennai’s Villivakkam.  Women stood for hours under the blazing sun, legs aching, just to catch a glimpse of Vijay during his TVK campaign event. No shade, no water, no sense. One by one, they started fainting – collapsing right there on the street because the heat and exhaustion finally won.

This isn’t “devotion.” This is dangerous, delusional fan culture crashing headfirst into politics. people aren’t just queuing for a movie ticket anymore. They’re risking their health – and sometimes their lives – for a celebrity who’s now running for power. And what do they get? A quick wave, a “gift,” maybe a selfie if they’re lucky, while the sun cooks them alive.

• Hours in 40°C heat with no basic arrangements.

• women fainting back-to-back because “Thalapathy is coming.”

• Blind worship turning a political campaign into a medical emergency.

• Fans paying with their health while the star stays cool in the AC.

• This is exactly how celebrity politics looks when fans lose all common sense.

Look, love your hero. But don’t die for him in the name of politics. tamil Nadu deserves better than fans dropping unconscious just to prove their loyalty.
