Tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. Stalin on saturday chaired an all-party meeting at the secretariat in chennai to discuss issues related to the revision of the voter list ahead of the upcoming elections.

The meeting was convened to ensure that the process of updating and verifying the electoral rolls is conducted transparently and efficiently, giving every eligible citizen the right to vote without difficulty.

The chief minister called upon representatives from all major political parties in tamil Nadu to exchange views and suggestions regarding:

He urged all parties to cooperate with the election Commission in identifying issues such as missing names, incorrect details, and address mismatches, which have often led to confusion during past elections.

Special attention will be given to:

· Enrolling first-time voters who have turned 18 years old,

· Updating the details of migrated urban voters, and

· Assisting senior citizens and differently-abled persons in verifying their voter information.

CM stalin also proposed awareness campaigns through schools, colleges, and local bodies to encourage young voters to register before the final voter list is published.
