Is Vijay Devarakonda's Kingdom the next KGF or Thug Life..!?
Gautham Tinnanuri has directed this film by combining these two. If we look at these two separate layers, such stories have already come. But when we look at them together, they are new. That is a special feature of this. The way it is combined is good. The entire film is made as an emotional action entertainer. They have tried to show brother-brother affection strongly. That is the main emotional aspect. The team has succeeded in expressing those emotions. The intermission scene is a bit emotional and creates more anticipation. The second half moves faster. The story revolves around who is giving the information. The climax scene is more emotional. The ending is good at creating big expectations. The way it shows the hint that there will be a second part, the twists of new characters, and the way for a new story is good.
The first half of the film is made up of the police station scene, the fight scene in the jail, the scene of meeting the brother, and the scenes of escaping from the Sri Lankan police when they are caught. All those scenes are wonderful. The climax in the second half is good. But it could have been handled better. Vijay Deverakonda's performance and Anirudh's background music hold the film together. Fight scenes in sri lanka are another highlight. As for the shortcomings, the logic violations in the story can be said to be the biggest flaw. They left many small mistakes. There is no clarity in the story. More clarity is needed in the matter of connecting the story of the tribal leader with the brother-brother affection. The director seems to be a bit hesitant in moving the story. He did not put a strong villain. He did not use the character of satyadev properly.
The whole story is going to be serious. It would be good if there were some comedy scenes. Similarly, they cut the love song with the heroine. On the other hand, the dialogues are weak. There are no strong dialogues that suit the story. There are many logic violations. Keeping Vijay aside in the climax fight scene is also not right. It does not fit well that he goes and gets into a fight after everything is over. If they had focused on some such things and moved the story forward better, the film would have been on a different level. vijay deverakonda is amazing in the role of Soori. He has given his best performance. As an actor, he gets 100% marks. He is the one who holds the film together. He is captivating from various angles. He is amazing in emotional scenes. satyadev has played the role of shiva well. He has also played emotionally. bhagyashree Porsche has played the role of a doctor. Her character is less. venkatesh Y.P. has played a good role in the negative role. This film will give him a good name. The other actors are satisfied.
Anirudh's music has given life to the film. It is also a highlight. The songs are good. The background music is wonderful. The climax song is awesome. He has elevated even ordinary scenes with his background music. He has created expectations. The cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and Jomon D. john is good. Every scene is magnificent. Although the story chosen by director gautham Thinnanuri is good, he has not shown a strong story in the film. The story is not written properly. There are some flaws in the dialogue, too. He could have done better in the direction. He has focused more on mass, action, emotion, and anticipation. He has succeeded there. But it seems that he was not clear in the story and in the matter of moving the film. But it can be said that he has succeeded in creating an emotional action film. Overall, this is an above-average film. This Kingdom is a film that can be watched for Vijay Deverakonda's performance, Anirudh's background music, brother-brother affection, and fight scenes.
