In 2022, actress samantha Ruth Prabhu received a diagnosis of myositis, an autoimmune disease. Her connection to her phone.

What's Happening?
After going on a three-day quiet retreat, actress samantha Ruth Prabhu disclosed on Tuesday's episode of the health podcast Take 20 with health coach Ryan Fernando that she had discovered a crucial link between her phone and her ego.

"I was quite content with the pattern I had established for myself, and I had made a lot of adjustments in my life.  This was the one thing I had no control over.

"Going to the phone, this unfounded sense of importance that 'It's my work and it has to be done,' and this relationship with my phone that I was beginning to question again."  I therefore spent three days in a state of quiet, devoid of any form of communication, eye contact, reading, writing, or stimulus of any type.  In the video posted on her instagram page, she stated, "Your brain just comes down."

Samantha Ruth Prabhu responded, "Yes, it was," when Ryan Fernando questioned her about whether it was similar to a "drug detox."

It was a "humbling experience" to avoid all forms of stimulus and interaction, she continued.

"You understand that my phone is a big part of my ego. Without it, you are just another living creature, like a bird or worm, regardless of who I am, how significant I am, or what I have accomplished. Not a thing. You will simply be born, live, and die. That's all there is to it.

Additionally, the phone gives you a really phony existence.  I would absolutely do it again because it was a really eye-opening experience for me.  However, I am fully aware of how much your phone obsession interferes with your health and productivity," samantha Ruth Prabhu stated.
