Filmmakers Rush to secure Operation Sindoor title - 15 Production Houses Seek It

Leading bollywood production companies are fighting for the rights to the title "Operation Sindoor." Federation of Western india Cine Employees (FWICE) president BN Tiwari told india Today that several producers applied for the title after india responded to the april 22 pahalgam terror attack by carrying out precision strikes on terror camps in pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

According to him, over 15 studios and filmmakers submitted applications to the indian Motion Picture Producers Association, one of the organizations that works to register movie titles.

Sources claim that this trend is rather typical in the motion picture business. "Filmmakers often bid on the title if a significant national event takes place.  It's safer to get the title registered even if no movie will be produced.  But following the success of Uri, war, or Fighter, filmmakers realized that war movies were still popular, therefore they would like to make a movie about Operation Sindoor as well someday," the insider continued.

"Yes, I've applied to register the title 'Operation Sindoor,'" Ashoke Pandit told india Today in response to a question concerning the registration of the title.  It's still unlikely that a movie will be made about the subject, but as producers and directors, we frequently register titles as soon as something intriguing occurs. This is the first and most crucial step because you can't even start preparing a movie without a title. All applicants for the title submitted their applications following the incident.

While registering offers them the opportunity to investigate further, it does not guarantee that all of them will produce a film. This is a topic that I can really relate to. I am aware of the struggles this nation has had; we have been victims of this conflict for thirty to thirty-five years. I am aware of this terrorist nation's integrity. For me, as someone who has personally suffered because of pakistan, it is a really significant topic. They committed the worst genocide against us.

Trade sources claim that Mahaveer Jain's company, which was the first to register this title under its name, has been the clear favorite in this competition. In addition, studios including T-Series and Zee Studios, as well as filmmaker madhur bhandarkar and Ashoke Pandit, are rumored to have quickly applied for the same title for their prospective movie.
