The famous Chandrachudeshwara temple is located in Hosur, krishnagiri district of tamil Nadu. It is said to be about 800 years old. Every day, 800 to 1000 devotees come here for darshan. This temple, located on the national highway connecting Bangalore and krishnagiri, is under the auspices of the Hindu Religious and Endowments Department. However, there was a stir here when a baby snake was found in the prasad offered to devotees. Photos related to this prasad are going viral on social media. When the devotees complained to the temple authorities that there was a snake in the prasad, they alleged that they had responded negligently. The tamil Nadu Food Safety Department is trying hard to ensure that the food available at street stalls and prasad offered in temples reaches the people in a healthy manner. The tamil Nadu Food Safety and Drug Administration Department is taking strict action. It is sealing some hotels and street stalls that are serving unhealthy food to the people. It remains to be seen what the tamil Nadu ministry will do after the snake was found in the temple offering.
