Scammer praises Girl who gave a Taste of his Own Medicine - WATCH
Speaking with assurance and sweetness, the man says he will transfer her ₹12,000 via UPI. He claims to have sent her ₹10,000 while they are still on the phone. The girl displays the phone that she used to get an SMS stating that she had earned ₹10,000. But rather than coming from the girl's bank, the message was sent from a personal mobile number. The man goes on to say that he tried to con her by sending ₹20,000 by mistake rather than ₹2,000.
He requests that she return the additional ₹18,000 that he said he had sent her. After complying with the con artist's ploy, the girl chose to pull his own prank on him. In order to pretend that she had returned the money, she altered the amount to ₹18,000 and sent him a copy of the phony transaction SMS.
"Lijiye uncle aapko bhi chala gaya ₹18,000. (There, I have also sent you ₹18,000)," she told him, holding back laughter.
As he realised that he has been caught, the scammer sounded impressed and said, "Maan gaya main aapko, beta," he said and disconnected the call.
The video was flooded with comments by users who praised the girl. "That was great presence of mind," said one of them.
Another said, " She is a very very smart girl with a high IQ for sure."
