PM Modi honored with Sri Lanka Mitra Vibhushan Award!Prime minister Narendra Modi arrived in Colombo on friday (April 4) evening on a three-day visit. Where five top ministers including Sri Lankan Foreign minister Vijitha Herath, health minister Nalinda Jayatissa and Fisheries minister Ramalingam chandrasekhar were present at the airport to give him a special welcome. prime minister Modi was welcomed with state honors. He was given a guard of honor and a 21-gun salute at Independence Square. This was the fourth occasion of his visit to Sri Lanka. This time PM Modi was awarded the sri lanka Mitra Vibhushan Award. This is the highest civilian honor of the Sri Lankan government which is given to foreign dignitaries who have played a special friendship with Sri Lanka.
