Director anurag kashyap has left Bollywood. He has said that the situation there has become very bad and everyone is running only for money. Filmmaker anurag kashyap has left bollywood and left Mumbai. anurag kashyap himself has revealed this shocking information in a recent conversation. He has also told the reason for leaving Bollywood. Accordingly, the hindi film industry has become very toxic. bollywood people are now running only after money and statistics, due to which it is difficult to work here. anurag kashyap confirmed his departure from bollywood and mumbai in an interview with The Hindu. He said that he has settled in a rented house in another city. However, he did not reveal the name of the city. But it is speculated that he may have made Bangalore his new home.
Kashyap regretfully said, "I have left Mumbai. I want to stay away from the film industry. This industry (Bollywood) has become very toxic. Here everyone is running towards unnecessary goals, trying to make the next 500 crore or 800 crore film. The creative environment has been destroyed." anurag kashyap has also said that he is not the first person to leave bollywood and Mumbai. He said, "The biggest migration has been to the Middle East, especially Dubai. Others have gone to Portugal, London, Germany, and America. I am talking about the major filmmakers." anurag kashyap also said in this conversation that the film industry in mumbai tries to put each other down.


According to anurag kashyap, leaving mumbai has helped him to stay physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy. The director said that he has also stopped drinking alcohol. Earlier in a conversation, anurag kashyap had hinted about leaving bollywood and Mumbai. During a conversation in december 2024, he said, "I am going to the South. I want to go there, whether there is excitement there or not, I will die old. I am very disappointed and frustrated with my film industry. I hate their mentality."
