Railway Rules Changed - No Sleeper Or AC Coach For Those Who Travel On Waiting Tickets From Today
Passengers' convenience is the reason for these modifications. According to media sources, the booking procedure should become more efficient once the regulation is implemented.
The specifics of the new regulations are as follows:
The 120-day ticket-buying period has been shortened to 60 days. Consequently, waiting list-related problems will be reduced.
Tickets on the waiting list will only be available for general coaches. Passengers with waiting list tickets who are discovered to be riding in sleeping coaches or air conditioning will be fined.
Tickets for AC Tatkal will go on sale at 10 AM, while those for non-AC Tatkal will go on sale at 11 AM.
In some circumstances, passengers will be eligible for a reimbursement. The cost of the ticket will be reimbursed if a train is canceled or delayed by more than three hours.
AI technology will now be used by indian Railways to assign seats.
