Rakt Bramhand: The Bloody Kingdom, Raj & DK's next series, began production last year. samantha Ruth Prabhu has already been cast by the pair, while aditya roy kapur was just added to play one of the main roles. The creators have not yet disclosed a possible premiere date for the fantasy series, which will be available on Netflix. However, Aditya will receive training for his part, and the program will introduce a universe that everyone has heard about since they were children, according to a social media post from karan Johar's dharma Cornerstone Agency.
Rahi Anil Barve, who is well-known for his work in Tumbbad, is directing the program, which will also have ali fazal and wamiqa gabbi in other significant parts. Interestingly, this will be Raj & DK's third concert with Samantha. The trio previously collaborated on Citadel Honey bunny and the family man Season 2. Samantha's portrayal as the antagonist Raji in the family man won her a lot of accolades. Even though the character ultimately perished, the audience still remembers it.
Citadel Honey bunny was praised as well, but the show's reception was divided, with most people describing it as a once-in-a-lifetime good watch. Expectations are quite high, especially since the fantasy genre has a sizable fan base among the public and Samantha's collaborations with Raj & DK have always been positive. Since kushi and Shaakuntalam's failure in 2023, samantha hasn't starred in any movies for around two years. It appears that folks will have to wait a little while longer to see her on the big screen because she is already receiving a lot of praise on OTT.
