5 personalities will get Padma Bhushan & Padma Shri honors!President draupadi murmu has announced the country's highest honor Padma Awards for 2025. This year a total of 139 people will get this honor. These include 7 Padma Vibhushan, 19 Padma bhushan and 113 Padma Shri. Five personalities of maharashtra will also be honored with Padma Awards. Of these, three will be awarded Padma Bhushan and two people will be awarded Padma Shri. Of these, two people will be given this award posthumously.These awards are given for outstanding contribution in many fields like art, social service, public life, science, industry, medicine, literature, education, sports and civil service. Among those who receive the country's highest honor, former chief minister Manohar Joshi, senior singer Pankaj Udhas and Shekhar Kapoor have been announced to be honored with Padma Bhushan.Two people will get Padma ShriWhile it has been announced that Marathi writer maruti Bhujangrao Chitampally and Dr. Vilas Dangre, who served millions of needy people through homeopathy, will be awarded Padma Shri. Chief Minister devendra fadnavis has congratulated and wished the Padma awardees. He wrote on his X handle, "I salute former lok sabha Speaker and former chief minister Manohar Joshi and senior singer Pankaj Udhas."CM fadnavis congratulatedHe said, "I am particularly happy that we recently honoured ashok Mama with maharashtra bhushan and today it was announced to give him the padma shri award. Hearty congratulations to him. maruti Chitampally, whom we call Van Rishi, has created literature from animals, birds, trees and flowers, which is unique, he built the first birdhouse. Chitampally, who knew 18 languages, wrote more than 21 books, with the belief that nature is a living being."The cm said, "The work he has done for environmental protection is enormous. Although he is from Solapur, his area of work is Vidarbha. The service being given by Dr Vilas Dangre to lakhs of needy people through homeopathy is unique. Especially despite his health problems recently, he never let them become an obstacle in his social service. This is a unique honour for these two gems of Nagpur-Vidarbha. I congratulate them and wish them all the best for their future endeavours."
