One-sided Division 2 matches light up Christmas Day as Delhi, Chandigarh, and U.P. win the Yuva Kabaddi Series

Coimbatore, Dec 25 - On the third day of the 11th edition of the yuva Kabaddi Series Division 2 at the Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, the matches turned into a festive christmas celebration as delhi Dhurandhars, chandigarh Chargers, UP Falcons, and Chola Veerans all secured victories.


The day kicked off with delhi Dhurandhars achieving their first win of the tournament by defeating Panchala Pride with a score of 53-29. Anuj Negi shone as the standout player, accumulating 17 raid points, while Vinod Pal made significant contributions from the bench with seven tackle points. Panchala Pride experienced their third straight defeat, despite Ankit Singh's seven tackle points and rahul Kumar's nine raid points.


chandigarh Chargers maintained their strong performance by overcoming hampi Heroes 45-31 in the day's second match. Bablu Singh showcased an excellent all-around display with five raid points and four tackle points, while Nikesh also impressed with a Super 10 and solid defensive efforts. Hampi's Krupasagar D achieved a Super 10 but received insufficient assistance from his teammates.


UP Falcons climbed to the top of the standings with a convincing 52-22 victory against vizag Victors in the third match. Rachit Yadav’s impressive 17 raid points and ashish Bhati’s 12 raid points proved overwhelming for Vizag. Even though Pirati Srisivatejesh secured a Super 10, vizag Victors were unable to keep pace with the Falcons' overall excellence.


The day concluded with a thrilling match as Chola Veerans narrowly defeated hyderabad Hurricanes 31-29. Iyyappan Veerapandian spearheaded the team with a Super 10, well-supported by Arun Kumar. Despite a determined comeback effort from hyderabad, featuring Super 10s from Banothu Santhosh and suresh Oruganti, the Hurricanes fell just two points short.
